Shipping & Delivery
 

Processing Time

Gadgetz.ca processes all orders within approximately 1 to 2 business days, provided the required items are in stock and there are no problems with payment verification. Gadgetz.ca does not guarantee same day-shipping. Orders are not processed on weekends and holidays.

Shipping Method

Gadgetz.ca ships all orders via various courier companies. Gadgetz.ca will ship all orders via the most economically priced carrier unless the customer specifies an alternate carrier or pickup from the Woodbridge warehouse location.

​

Shipping Origin

Gadgetz.ca (with a few exceptions) ships all orders from our warehouse in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada. For selective products Gadgetz.ca may utilize third party fulfillment.

USA & International Shipping

Please contact Gadgetz.ca directly for all USA & international orders and shipping inquiries.
 

Handling Charges

Gadgetz.ca does not charge any handling fees for shipments in Canada or in the contiguous United States.

Weekend and Holiday Delivery

Gadgetz.ca does not process orders during weekends or holidays. We do our very best to ship all orders on the next business day. For some locations in Canada, couriers now offer weekend deliveries during the holiday season.

Delivery of Multiple Items

Gadgetz.ca will attempt to ship multiple items purchased on the same order in one box but we may decide to package your items separately due to weight or size concerns. There will be no additional shipping charges added for orders that must be shipped in multiple boxes.

Delivery

Couriers will make up to 2 attempts to deliver your package to your door. If no one is home to receive the package, the package may be left at the designated delivery address or a pick-up notice will be left at your door or mailbox to notify you of the pickup location of the package. Normally, you have up to 5 days to pick-up your package after the first attempt to deliver. If after 5 days the package is still left unclaimed, the courier will ship the unclaimed package back to us.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to pick up the package from the courier office within the holding period. In the case where the package is left unclaimed and is shipped back to us, the customer will be responsible for the shipping charge incurred for the delivery and may be charged the returned shipping costs charged to Gadgetz.ca.

Information Collection and Use

Gadgetz.ca and its parent and affiliates is the sole owner of information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any outside parties. We collect information from our customers to process orders and better serve you with pertinent information, such as order confirmations and order status updates. Information collected includes your name, shipping address, billing address, telephone number, email address, and payment information such as your credit card number. Gadgetz.ca is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers.

Registration

In order for Gadgetz.ca to process your orders on this website, you must either log on as a guest or complete the registration form. During registration, you will be required to create a username and password and provide your contact information, which includes your name, e-mail address, telephone number and street address. This information is used to provide you with important Gadgetz.ca services such as automated order status & updates via email. If you choose to log on as a guest, a username and password is not required.

Orders

Most of the information collected in the registration process will be used to process orders. During the order process, you will have to provide financial information such as your credit card number and expiration date. Payment for orders can also be paid using PayPal. This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill your order. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this contact information to get in touch with you. We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except those specified in the Sharing section of this policy.

Security

Gadgetz.ca takes precautions to protect its customers’ information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. When our registration/order form asks you to enter sensitive information, that information is encrypted and is protected with encryption software. Gadgetz.ca uses a 128/256-bit Positive SSL certificate. Access to all our users’ information is restricted. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.

Returns & Refunds

Refund Policy

All merchandise, unless otherwise indicated, may be returned only if defective or provided incorrectly, within 10 days from the delivery date for a replacement or refund. A return authorization number is required for all returns. Customers must inform Gadgetz.ca of any order discrepancy within 10 days from the delivery date, so that we may investigate and resolve the situation accordingly. Once the merchandise has been returned, if a refund is required, it will be issued to the original method of payment.

*Christmas / Holiday Season Return Policy

Items purchased between November 15th and December 24th, if defective or provided incorrectly, may be returned until January 10th of the following year, subject to our return guidelines listed above.

Product Return Procedure

Gadgetz.ca will not accept returns without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 10 days, within which time returned products must be received by Gadgetz.ca. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. The Customer should prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label containing the returned product.

The Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component of the returned product is missing, Gadgetz.ca's Return Procedure will be breached and Gadgetz.ca may in its sole and absolute discretion reject the entire return or choose to impose additional charges against the Customer for replacement of the missing component(s). Unless the product is supplied incorrectly, the return shipping charges are the responsibility of the Customer.

DOA (Dead On Arrival) Policy

Gadgetz.ca will gladly replace any item that arrives DOA (arrives defective, broken or dead on arrival). If the product is found to be defective, the Customer must let us know within 10 days from the date the item is received. If a direct replacement is not available, Gadgetz.ca reserves the right to offer you a replacement of equal or greater value or issue a full refund. All shipping expenses for replacing DOA item(s) will be the responsibility of Gadgetz.ca.

Damaged Products

Gadgetz.ca will gladly replace any item that arrives damaged. If the product is found to be damaged, you must let us know within 10 days from the date that you received your item, so a claim with the carrier can be filed. Pictures of the damaged product will be required in advance prior to the replacement item being shipped. If a direct replacement is not available, Gadgetz.ca reserves the right to offer you a replacement of equal or greater value or issue a full refund.

Final Sale Items

Some merchandise will be sold under the condition of “Final Sale”. The DOA Policy will still apply on “Final Sale” items.

Restocking Fee

In some cases, a restocking fee will apply if a product is returned in poor and/or damaged condition, without the original packaging or accessories provided by the manufacturer. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Gadgetz.ca does not issue refunds after 10 days from the delivery date.

Warranties

Gadgetz.ca is a distributor only. Products sold by Gadgetz.ca are not manufactured by Gadgetz.ca. The products may, however, be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, service, and support policy (if present). Gadgetz.ca assigns and passes through to the customer any warranty of the manufacturer, and customer acknowledges that it shall have recourse only under such warranties and only as against the manufacturer of the products. Gadgetz.ca makes no representation or express warranty with respect to the product except those stated in the specific advertisement or this document. Gadgetz.ca disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, as to any such product, including and without limitation, the implied warranties arising from statute, trade usage, course of dealing, or course of performance. Should any of these items prove defective, not function, or function properly in any way after the 10 day DOA period, the buyer, and not the manufacturer or Gadgetz.ca, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair.

Limitation of Liability

In all circumstances Gadgetz.ca’s maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the products sold. Gadgetz.ca shall not, under any circumstances, be liable upon a claim or action in contract, tort, indemnity or contribution, or other claims relating to the products it sells which exceeds this liability limit. Gadgetz.ca shall not be liable for third party claims for damages against the customer, or for malfunction, delays, interruption of service, loss of business, special damages or exemplary damages, whether or not Gadgetz.ca has been made aware of the possibility of such claims and or damages.

Ordering & Local Pick-Up​

An order is not binding upon Gadgetz.ca until is it accepted; Gadgetz.ca must receive payment before it will accept an order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior to shipment. Customer can make payment by PayPal, credit card or some other method prearranged and confirmed in writing with Gadgetz.ca.

Other Payment Methods (Must be Prearranged)

Gadgetz.ca will also accept Interac e-Transfer as well as payment via direct deposit at a local Canadian financial institution. Sales Tax

Gadgetz.ca charges GST (HST on sales made in Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Nova Scotia) on all sales as required by law.

 

 

Free In-Store Pick-up (Local Pick-up)*

Gadgetz.ca Customers have the option to pick-up in-store from our Woodbridge, Ontario facility. Customers can simply buy online and select free local pick-up during the checkout process. Once your checkout is complete, call us to schedule your pick-up. Please bring identification and the credit card used for the purchase. If using PayPal, a printout of the PayPal confirmation is required.

Back-Orders

Gadgetz.ca does not sell backordered merchandise. We will never purposely charge a customer for an item that we do not physically have in stock at the time of purchase. Occasional inventory discrepancies may occur due to inaccurate inventory counts. If you are erroneously charged for an out-of-stock item, we will either offer you a replacement of equal or greater value or issue you a full refund.

 

Order Status

Gadgetz.ca will keep you informed of your order status via email. All tracking information will be emailed to the email address provided.

 

Change/Cancel Orders

You may request to cancel or change your order provided the order has not already been processed and shipped.

 

Product Testing

Gadgetz.ca ships items in the condition they were received from the original manufacturer/distributor. Gadgetz.ca does not conduct testing before shipping any merchandise.

 

Product Listings

Gadgetz.ca strives for accuracy in all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information contained herein or referenced on our website. Due to human error and other factors, we cannot guarantee that all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links or any other product-related information listed is entirely accurate, complete or current, nor can we assume responsibility for these errors. In the event a product listed on our website is labeled with an incorrect price due to some typographical, informational, technical or other error, Gadgetz.ca shall, at its sole discretion, have the right to refuse and/or cancel any order for said product and immediately amend, correct and/or remove the inaccurate information.

Product Revisions

Gadgetz.ca is not responsible for changes or variations in product specifications and/or physical appearance. In the interest of our customers, Gadgetz.ca puts forth its best efforts to ensure that all product information is up-to-date and factual. Unfortunately there are various factors which, although infrequent, could cause the information on our website to become outdated without our immediate knowledge. These include, but are not limited to, new versions or revisions, colour deviations, retail package alterations and other variations that may be considered inconsequential by the manufacturer. Gadgetz.ca relies on the manufacturer to communicate these differences. Presently we have no way of alerting customers prior to purchase in the event the manufacturer fails to notify us. Consequently, Gadgetz.ca will not be held responsible for product revision changes.

Gadgetz.ca currently does not offer any sort of technical assistance. We cannot offer advice on compatibility of items, make product recommendations or provide technical support. We post all of the information the manufacturer provides us with for your convenience. Please contact the manufacturer directly for the most accurate answers to your technical questions or for additional information or specifications that are not posted on Gadgetz.ca.
