This pair of 2-way transmission line tower speakers feature dual 4" woofers with high-excursion drivers and a 4 layer voice coil, all packed into precision engineered quarter wave transmission line enclosures. When combined with a 3/4" silk dome tweeter, this pair of speakers produce a wide dispersion range and up to 160W maximum of detailed sound. The built-in crossover features a 3 kHz, 2nd order low-pass, 3rd order high-pass filter. The 7-component crossover uses asymmetrical slopes to help blend the two drivers with a flatter treble response that delivers a smoother high-end. These speakers have a removable grill and wooden cabinet finished in a textured black vinyl that minimizes resonance and enhances warmth without sacrificing clarity.
